Dining Services

The quality and the presentation of meals are often central to the comfort and contentment of our residents.

This is why we make special efforts to serve appetizing and nutritious meals, with choices diverse enough to satisfy most palates. Registered dieticians ensure that each resident receives the diet required by his or her medical condition. Special meals are planned throughout the year, ranging from traditional holiday meals to themed dinners. Meals are served in a restaurant-like setting which enhances social interaction, as well as feelings of dignity and independence.

Recreation

At Tallwoods Care Center our resident's social and recreational needs are paramount to the care we provide. We feel that our center, to be a true home to its residents, must bring to them all the amenities they would seek out individually. Our recreation programs are designed to encourage social interaction, stimulate the mind, soothe the heart, and promote intellectual curiosity. We strive to make the center the hub of activity for family and friends of our residents.

Our activities staff develops a monthly calendar of events based on ideas and suggestions presented by the residents. Recreational programs occur daily in different areas of the center. Various small and large group activities seek to accommodate the wishes for diverse programming.

Environmental Services

Housekeeping services are provided to each resident on a daily basis and are included in the daily rate. Resident linen and laundry services are provided free of charge.
